Precious Mad Hatter necklace

I created this necklace as a tribute to the intriguing Mad Hatter from Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland.

The hat is made of a watermelon tourmaline in emerald cut flanked by two pear shaped pink tourmalines.

The enigmatic eyes are made up of white sapphires and the nose is a green tourmaline.

The stones settings, chain and clasp are in solid 14k gold. The chain is 16 inches long.

NB: the second picture is of an already sold version of the Mad Hatter for which the sides of the hat were rubies hence the difference in color.
