The process

Everything starts with an idea that I write down in a secret notebook. Then I use many different techniques to translate my ideas into sketches, such as paper drawing, softwares with graphics tablets or 3D design.

In this example I made a jump rope player by transferring the paper sketch onto metal and then sawing the design out of a sheet of metal using century-old metalsmith techniques.

The piece is then polished to a mirror finish and is ready to get gold plated.

It is now time to add the final touch by mixing pigments and hand decorating the design with enamel resin. The color will convey emotion to the jewelry and create my signature look.
